This email is going out to all DYH players from the past 2 seasons. If you know of families who did not play DYH this season but want to play next season, please share the below information with them.
Registration for the 2025-2026 DYH hockey season is now OPEN!
https://duxburyyouthhockey.sportngin.com/register/form/530473957
Tryouts will start the week of March 17th. The complete tryout schedule is posted on the website and attached. Please register as soon as possible so we can get an accurate headcount for tryout sessions and plan their support accordingly.
Note: Tryout schedules are SUBJECT TO CHANGE but if they do, you will be notified of any changes to the email you used to register your player.
A few changes and highlights for the upcoming season:
- Our Learn to Play Program is now called Dux Devo. While this traditionally started in winter, we are offering two sessions of this and will continue to offer 2 sessions per week. If we have enough sign-ups, we will create a U6 team for both the Fall and the Winter.
- Tuition costs and registration cost ($250) will remain the same as last season. Hockey is a difficult youth sport cost wise due to significant costs tied to ice time so we are only able to keep costs stable with added fundraising. If you have ideas for sponsorships/fundraising, or would like to help, please let us know!
Tuition Costs 2025-2026
Dux Devo - $650 per session or $1050 for both Fall & Winter
Mites - $1200
(Full Season) Squirts, Pee Wee, Bantam, Girls U10, U12, U14 - $1700
(Middle School) Pee-Wee, Bantam - $750
(Full Season & Middle School) Pee Wee, Bantam - $2100
Midget High School League - $600 (incl. practice & skills) or $300 (Game Only)
Note: Registration cost is non-refundable and non- transferable, no exceptions as we base team commitments, ice time, and skills decisions on the number of players that register.
- We are asking that all players purchase a practice jersey at the time of registration. We will then purchase these as a program and coaches will hand out next year at the first practice. Having a reversible practice jersey allows us to create better practice plans and split players into groups to ensure the best development of your player.
- Goalies will continue to be 0% tuition costs as long as they attend 10 MassCrease sessions (Paid for by DYH) and participate in 75% of their teams games. Goalies will still need to pay the $250 registration cost but this can either be refunded or rolled over and used for the following years registration cost, provided the full-time goalie requirements are met.
Note: This applies to registered goalies at the squirt, peewee, bantam and midget as well as Girls U10, U12 and U14 levels. Goalies must be full-time and play in at least 75% of their assigned team’s games (and practices) and attend 10 MassCrease sessions for this benefit. Those goalies that would like to continue to improve their skating and other non-goalie skills can attend DYH skills at no cost. If a player tries out for and makes a team as both a full-time goalie and skates out on another team, then full tuition for that skater team will be charged with half-refunded once full-time goalie requirements are met. Please note that the goalie team must be the priority team.
- When you register your player this year, we will ask if you are interested in volunteering to coach or help with team management. It takes a village so please consider this. Even being a team parent helping to manage team communications is a huge help.
- We plan to have both middle school and full season teams at the Pee Wee and Bantam levels so please review the registration options for those age groups. Note that all Pee Wee aged players are eligible for a middle school team even if in 5th grade for the 2025-2026 school year.

Option 2. Participate in a payment schedule where you pay your $250 registration cost upon registration and then your credit card will automatically be charged 33% of the balance on 6/1 , 7/1, and 8/1. All appropriate family discounts (see below) will be applied to your account before the 8/1 payment is drawn.
You should receive a registration confirmation email once you register. If you do not and aren't sure if it went through, please reach out!
Note: If a player has an outstanding balance after 9/1 coaches will be notified and players will not be allowed to take the ice for practice or games.
Notes on Discounts:
Any girl trying out for 2 teams can play for the lower-priced team for half price. They must register and pay the registration fee for BOTH teams up front.
Multiple player discounts start with three kids in the program. 50% of the lowest tuition for 3 kids in the program. Lowest tuition is free if you have 4 kids in the program. If you choose to pay up front, you must pay the full, un-discounted tuition amounts for all family members and then email DuxYouthHockeyTreasurer@gmail.com and DuxYouthHockeyRegistrar@gmail.com. We will then apply all appropriate discounts to your account and process a refund to your credit card within 5 business days. We need to do this manually because the system does not handle all the discounts we offer.
Thank you and we hope to see you all at tryouts!
